Clausing/Kondia FV1, FV60 and FV300 CNC vertical mills offer a range of two- or three-axis operations. All models are equipped with Acu-Rite MILL-PWR two or three axis CNC control, allowing manual operation with DRO, semi-automatic operation and full X-, Y- and Z-axis CNC operation with menu-prompted conversational programming, immediate part view graphic and tool offset compensation.
Features include Meehanite castings, extra heavy-duty knee and saddle to handle table loads up to 1,550 lbs, articulating head for machining compound angles, micrometer depth stop, precision ground and hardened leadscrews, and one-shot lubrication. The quill features lever-operated manual rapid quill movement and handwheel for fine quill feed, hard chrome-plated precision ground quill and quill locks and bi-directional adjustable automatic feed disengagement for quill feed. The spindle motor is available with infinitely variable speeds from 60 to 4,000 rpm, or with an eight-speed step pulley operating at 85 to 3,000 rpm (FV1 only).
The CNC vertical mill features a choice of tables from 9" × 42" to 11" × 58", X-axis travels from 28" to 36", Y-axis travels from 14" to 15.5" and 5" Z-axis travel. Additional features include a pneumatic assist to counterbalance the weight of the knee, saddle and table, and front way covers.
Options include a chip tray, 4", 6" and 8" riser blocks, mufti-angle attachment, horizontal milling arrangement, automatic power feed, plus other accessories.
