Bantam Tools has introduced a Desktop CNC Vacuum Accessory, following its release of the Desktop CNC Air Blaster Accessory. Both are designed to reduce cleaning times and enhance chip evacuation.
The Desktop CNC Vacuum Accessory attaches to the Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine, allowing for live vacuuming that is said to increase chip evacuation and decrease clean-up time. It features a brush length of 0.9", a recommended maximum feature depth of 0.75" and a vacuum port size of 1.5". The company notes users should source their own vacuum for the product.
The vacuum accessory is designed to provide better material visibility, decreased iteration time and a smoother, better finish. According to the company, it also helps maintain the life of end mills. It comes with acrylic dust shoe assembly, a three-foot-long hose and fastening screws.
