The company has announced the availability of its intuitive new Camio Studio CMM software program. The software comes with an enhanced graphical reporting function that is said to be self-explanatory.
Building on the foundation of the company's Camio 3D CMM software suite, Studio is designed to provide the quickest and easiest programming environment for the simplest to the most advanced 3D measuring applications, according to the company. Said to be flexible and user-friendly, Studio can read original native CAD library data to create detailed part inspection programs. Most functions can be carried out using the drag and drop Windows-based operating system. Highlights of the program, says the company, include configurable software workspace; wizard-based calibration, alignment and inspection; automatic selection of probe head angles; automatic measurement feature recognition; online or off-line programming ability; complete program simulation with probe collision detection; and user-friendly "one click" instant graphical reporting.
