The fan is constructed of a fiberglass compound with a steel center core and can be used with commercial shanks measuring 20 mm or 3/4" in diameter. Its fiberglass wings open and close when the machine tool spindle is turned on or off. The rotating fan can be moved at 100 to 150 mm (4" to 6") clearance above the workpiece or cleaning surface at 120 to 400 ipm feed rates. Three sizes are available, offering fan diameters of 160, 260 or 330 mm.
