The HAV series of air-cooled liquid chillers are designed for cooling cutting fluids, hydraulic fluids or other liquids that are cycled to a fluid reservoir such as a central coolant pit, storage tank or quench tank. The units are designed with a vertical air discharge to minimize worker discomfort and reduce floor space requirements. The chillers are available in 19 standard models that feature welded hermetic compressors and industrial-type electrical controls. Options include compliance with UL standard 1995, recirculating pump and either a fixed-bundle heat exchanger or cleanable heat exchanger for use when coolant contamination or swarf build up may be a problem.
