With added support for Tornos Deco's TB-Deco machines, GibbsCAM offers solutions for that company's entire line of machine tools. Because they operate with pulses rather than G-code programming, TB-Deco machines require specialized postprocessors. To address this need, the two companies collaborated to develop custom postprocessors to integrate the GibbsCAM multi-task machining (MTM) solution with the machines.
Able to support special Tornos functions such as tourbilloning and polygoning, the postprocessors are available for seven machine tool configurations: the one-spindle Deco 7/10a with five axes; the two-spindle Deco 7/10a with seven or nine axes; the two-spindle Deco 13 with 10 axes; and the two-spindle Deco 20 and 26 with five, eight or ten axes.
