The durable system is said to provide a cost-efficient, maintenance-free cooling solution for enclosures in hot, remote or dirty environments. Models offering 275 or 550 Btu/hr. are available. Applications include cooling control panels, PLCs, microprocessors, fractional hp-variable frequency drives and robotics.
The cabinet coolers circulate 20°F (-7°C) air throughout the enclosure to prevent high-temperature malfunctions. They mount through a standard electrical knockout while maintaining the NEMA 12, 4 or 4× rating of the enclosure. The systems include an automatic drain filter separator to prevent moisture from reaching the inside of the electrical enclosure. An optional thermostat control minimizes compressed air use and keeps the enclosure at ±2ºF of the setting, the company says.
