Yaskawa Motoman Announces Organizational Changes

The company says that a new appointment and executive organizational changes better position the company for growth.

Yaskawa Motoman (Dayton, Ohio) has announced the appointment of a new VP as well as organizational changes that it says better positions the company for growth and improved customer service.

The company has appointed Scott Jenkins vice president of North American sales and marketing. Formerly, he worked as senior vice president of sales and marketing for the ITW Welding Group, overseeing sales and marketing activities for Miller, Hobart, Bernard and Tregaskiss. Mr. Jenkins brings nearly 30 years of industrial manufacturing and distribution experience to Yaskawa.

In addition, the company announced that Doug Burnside, previously senior director of customer care, has been promoted to vice president of customer satisfaction, and Doug Schenher, previously vice president of customer satisfaction, has assumed the role of corporate vice president of Yaskawa Motoman America Inc.
