Wedin International Acquires Ballscrew Manufacturer PGM Products

The acquisition agreement also includes the former assets of both Modern American Ball Screw Mfg. and PGM Ball Screw USA Mfg.

Wedin International Inc. (Cadillac, Michigan) has purchased PGM Products Inc. (Warren, Michigan), a ballscrew manufacturer. Wedin reached an agreement to purchase all of PGM’s machinery and assets, and relocate the entire business to its own 60,000-square-foot facility in Cadillac. 

Jack Rabun Jr., vice president of Wedin, says that all of PGM’s manufacturing employees are relocating to the Cadillac area to work at Wedin as well. “Their experience and manufacturing skills as well as dedication to craftsmanship only enhances further Wedin’s current and future manufacturing abilities.” Additionally, PGM’s ballscrew engineering design manager, Tim Gillette, is now Wedin’s sales manager for the Midwest region. 

The acquisition agreement also includes the former assets of both Modern American Ball Screw Mfg. and PGM Ball Screw USA Mfg.
