Trumpf Enters Joint Venture for 3D Printing

Trumpf (Ditzingen, Germany) has entered a joint venture with laser manufacturer Sisma S.p.A. of Vicenza, Italy, to create robust additive machines for mass production. The agreement created Trumpf Sisma S.r.L. (Piovene Rocchette, Italy), through which the two companies will co-develop a 3D printing machine for metal components.
