In coordination with the upcoming release of its Vericut 7 machine simulation software, CGTech (Irvine, California) has scheduled 17 North American Vericut User’s Exchange (VUE) events in 2009. In addition to an introduction to new features and tips and tricks for improving efficiency, the events will provide attendees with an opportunity to express ideas about the future direction to the software.
After the events, one attendee from North America will be selected at random to win 2 days of on-site training and consulting for his or her company. A CGTech support engineer will travel to the winning company to provide custom training and/or implementation services, which the company says amounts to a total value of $3,500.
“We decided to offer this award to underscore that in our experience, the most successful shops in the long term are those that take full advantage of slower times,” says Jon Prun, president of CGTech. “The trepidation over spending any money during slow times is understandable, but it is the perfect time to research and implement new tools and strategies for becoming more efficient.”
The user exchange events will occur across the country throughout April and May. For a full schedule, visit www.cgtech.com.
