Sandvik Coromant Appoints President, Americas
Sean Holt says he will use his international experience to take advantage of the globalized market.
Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) has appointed Sean Holt president of the Americas market area. An experienced executive in the manufacturing industry, he was a member of the company’s Americas Management team as vice president of engineering. He is now part of the Global Sales Management team reporting to Eduardo Martin, global vice president of sales, whom he succeeds as the head of the Americas organization.
Reflecting on his new appointment, Mr. Holt says, “In an increasingly globalized market, I will utilize my international experience to broaden our business by reducing operational costs for our customers while continuing to develop a strong organization suited for the future of manufacturing.”
Mr. Holt has more than 20 years of engineering, business development, sales and executive management experience. He joined Sandvik Coromant in 2000 as a sales engineer in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Since then, he has held several positions before taking on the position of VP of engineering, Americas, in 2014.
