The Posa-Cut Corporation (Farmington Hills, Michigan) is celebrating 55 years of providing precision cutting tool solutions for the metalcutting industry. In 1959 the Carbide Tool Company, a manufacturer of brazed construction carbide tools, founded Posa-Cut to manufacture tooling solutions using replaceable and indexable inserts held in tool shanks. Initially produced for turning and milling applications, Posa-Cut now offers grooving and threading through the Posa-Lok and Posa-Cam product lines. The company provides cutting tools to customers in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
