Optical Gaging Products Expands Customer Center

The addition will double the size of the existing lab and showroom with training, lab and office space.

Optical Gaging Products (OGP), a division of Quality Vision International (QVI), is expanding its Customer Center in Rochester, New York. The 4,500–square-foot addition will double the size of the existing applications lab and showroom, and create a dedicated metrology training center for OGP customers and representatives. The new facility is scheduled to open in December 2015.

The equipment demonstration center will feature a precision climate-controlled lab for high-accuracy applications work, and gage repeatability and reproducibility studies, as well as expanded office and conference space.

“This doubling of our OGP Customer Center will provide adequate demonstration and training space for our larger and ever growing metrology product offerings,” says OGP President Stephen Flynn.

The OGP Customer Center expansion is the third major facility expansion on QVI’s Rochester campus in the past year.
