Lincoln Electric Appoints VP, Deputy General Counsel
Jennifer Ansberry’s new duties extend to the company’s environmental, health and safety organization.
The Lincoln Electric Co., a subsidiary of Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, has appointed Jennifer Ansberry vice president, deputy general counsel. Ms. Ansberry’s role as deputy general counsel has been extended to include leadership of the company's environmental, health and safety (EH&S) organization, which includes the development and implementation of EH&S policies, programs and practices. She will also lead portions of the company's legal function including global mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, corporate governance and other general corporate legal matters.
Prior to joining the company in 2004 as deputy general counsel, Ms. Ansberry served as an associate at Thompson Hine LLP and at Keating, Muething & Klekamp LLP. She holds a bachelor’s of business administration in accounting and a doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.
