Lantek Names Albert Otto Regional Sales Manager

Otto brings varied experience in domestic and international sales of CAD/CAM software, measurement platforms, MRP and MXP.

Lantek USA, North American subsidiary of Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions S.L., appointed Albert Otto to manage its sales and product efforts in the USA. Otto brings a wealth of experience in domestic and international sales of CAD/CAM software; milling, turning and precision measurement platforms; MRP and MXP products to his new role.

In his role as regional sales manager at Zoller Inc., Otto honed his expertise in Industry 4.0 automation products for tool management and dynamic storage software packages. During a brief stint as midwest sales manager at PROLIM PLM Corporation, he handled sales and custom product development presentations of the Siemens NX CAM software. Prior to his role at PROLIM PLM, Otto worked in various sales and sales operation roles at Sigma TEK Systems, LLC, selling and marketing the company’s CAD/CAM nesting and automation solutions to large international customers.

Otto also has experience managing international sales and recruitment in markets such as China, India, Taiwan, Brazil and Vietnam. He began his career at Mecad Systems – Solidworks as a sales engineer, eventually moving into a VP sales role where he managed 12 sales engineers, developed a solution selling course and performed all in-house and European training for Solidworks, Mastercam and ANSYS software. Otto holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Pretoria.
