Kennametal Allies with Pemtec

Kennametal Extrude Hone (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) and Pemtec (Forbach, France) have entered an agreement to supply customers with precision electrochemical machining (PECM) technology. PECM uses electrochemical metal removal to shape complex geometries in materials such as steel and super-alloys, and can also be used for tapping applications. Through the agreement, Kennametal will help to bring this technology to a wider range of customers on the global level.
