Renowned experts from the aerospace, medical, automotive and energy industries will present the keynote program on manufacturing innovation for the first-ever Industry Inspiration Day at IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show. A roundtable discussion will conclude the luncheon keynote program, which is scheduled for September 13 from 12 to 3 p.m. in the Industry & Technology Conference area of the West building of Chicago’s McCormick Place. Inspiration Day kicks off the all-new IMTS Industry and Technology Conference.
Speakers include: Allan McArtor, chairman of aircraft manufacturer Airbus Americas; Rene van de Zande, president and CEO of Emergo Group, a firm that provides consulting services for international medical device registrations, quality system compliance and medical distribution management; Jim Tetreault, vice president of North American Manufacturing for Ford Motor Company; and Denise Bode, energy policy expert and CEO of the American Wind Energy Association.
All show attendees who register for a conference session will be admitted to the Inspiration Days luncheon program. The conference program runs September 14-17 and will focus on five topics: materials engineering, machining technology and trends, alternative manufacturing processes, metrology, and plant operations.
