Greenleaf Corp. Appoints Executive VP
Bernie McConnell, who previously managed Kennametal’s Widia business, will replace current vice president of sales and marketing, David Rydbom.

Greenleaf Corp. (Saegertown, Pennsylvania) has appointed Bernie McConnell its executive vice president for commercial operations. Mr. McConnell comes to Greenleaf from Kennametal Corp. where he managed that company’s Widia business. At Greenleaf, he will be responsible for managing all of the company’s global sales and marketing operations and report directly to company President Jim Greenleaf. Mr. McConnell will replace David Rydbom, vice president of sales and marketing, when he retires in December 2015.
Prior to joining Kennametal, Mr. McConnell served in the U.S. Navy onboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea. He holds an MBA from Duquesne University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
