Gibbs’ IMTS Booth to Host Presentation from Next Intent

Next Intent President and owner Rodney Babcock will speak about his company’s work with national space exploration projects.

Rodney Babcock, president and owner of Next Intent (San Luis Obispo, California), will deliver a presentation at Gibbs and Associates’ IMTS Booth E-3310, discussing national space exploration projects and his company’s participation in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of specific components for them. The presentation will be offered daily on September 9, 10 and 11 at 10:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m.

Among its various projects, Next Intent has provided components for the Mars exploration rovers Spirit and Opportunity, the Mars science laboratory rover Curiosity, the James Webb Space Telescope, the National Ignition Facility and the Antares Rocket, which was developed for missions to the International Space Station.

Having been a customer of Gibbs since 1996, Next Intent uses GibbsCAM to program its milling and turning machines.
