To accommodate customer needs, Ganesh Machinery has expanded the classroom training area of its Chatsworth, California campus. The new 500-square-foot classroom is equipped with computers and projection equipment to aid in helping users make the company’s seven- and eight-axis machines as productive as possible.
Additionally, 2011 marks the company’s 26th year in business, a milestone that it will celebrate with an open house in August. The more than 20 machines under power at the event will include a new seven-axis turn/mill center and a new five-axis machining center, as well as brand new models that will debut there.
The first annual SEC Machining Competition highlighted students studying for careers in machining, as well as the need to rebuild a domestic manufacturing workforce.
