FFG | DMC Names Heartland Machine & Engineering Exclusive U.S. Importer
Heartland has been selling DMC machines since 2012.
Taiwan-based Fair Friend Group (FFG), has named Indiana-based Heartland Machine & Engineering (HME) its exclusive North American importer for its Korean product line FFG | DMC. The FFG | DMC product line provides CNC lathes, milling machines and machining centers to manufacturers and job shops in the diesel engine and fuel injection, aerospace, orthopedic, and automotive industries.
DMC Korea was acquired in January 2015 by FFG. The group recently integrated DMC’s product line into its global machine concept and rebranded the company as FFG | DMC. The company is now known in the United States as FFG | DMC by Heartland.
The acquisition enables HME to continue its three-year history as a seller of DMC machines. HME began representing the DMC product line in 2012 and reportedly was able to establish a strong presence in the Midwest.
“Heartland’s extensive knowledge of the DMC product line and the sales success they’ve had with the product gives us every confidence that they are the right partner for FFG | DMC as we work toward expanding our market in the U.S., Canada and Mexico,” says David Chu, president of FFG | DMC.
FFG | DMC by Heartland currently has distributors in Texas, Massachusetts, Alabama, Virginia, Oklahoma, and the Eastern United States as well as in Canada.
