DMG MORI Pfronten Open House to Unveil Six World Premieres
The January 2016 event will showcase some 90 exhibits and include a technical press conference.

DMG MORI will host its annual open house event January 26-30, 2016 at its Deckel Maho facility in Pfronten, Germany, focusing on the company’s latest machine technologies. Within the 79,653-square-foot exhibition area, the company will showcase 90 exhibits with demo operations, including best-selling models as well as six world premieres. Besides the machine demonstrations and guided tours, a technical press conference will cover Industry 4.0-related topics, including DMG MORI’s Celos user interface and software solutions.
The six machines to be premiered include:

The CTX gamma 3000 TC (second generation) turn-mill, with a turning length of 120 inches and a compactMaster spindle providing 162 foot-pounds of torque.

The DMU 160 P duoBlock (fourth generation) five-axis machine, featuring improved precision, performance and efficiency.

The DMU 210 P (second generation) with an optimized work area measuring 82.7 × 82.7 × 49.2 inches.

The DMU 600 G linear gantry-type machining center for large workpieces weighing as much as 60,000 pounds in a work area of 236.2 × 137.8 × 59.1 inches.

The Dixi 125 high-precision machining center, featuring volumetric accuracy of less than 0.0006 inches, designed for workpieces with diameters ranging to 49.2 inches.

The Ultrasonic 20 linear (second generation), capable of five-axis grinding of advanced materials as well as HSC milling.
