Mastercam developer CNC Software (Tolland, Connecticut) will underwrite $50,000 toward Purdue University's MSTEM3 Grant Initiative, which is aimed at changing students’ perceptions of manufacturing through eduFactor, Edge Factor’s multimedia resource for schools. The Gene Haas Foundation has also contributed $250,000 to the initiative. Because of the grant, upper elementary and high schools can qualify for a subscription to eduFactor's suite of educational products for as little as $99 per year. Discounted subscriptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis to schools that apply for the grant on mstem3.org and qualify.
