CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies Appoints President
Steven Smith, formerly of Heartland Machine & Engineering, will direct the company as it builds a new national distribution network.

CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies (Mason, Ohio) has appointed Steven Smith company president. He will be responsible for managing the company’s daily operations as well as building a new national distribution network in the United States.
Mr. Smith comes to CNC Indexing from Heartland Machine & Engineering (Dayton, Ohio) where he spent three years expanding that company’s customer base into new territories in Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
As a project manager for Gosiger, Mr. Smith marketed such top machining brands as Okuma and Hardinge after a successful career as a sales engineer at both Yamazen and Technical Equipment Inc, where he sold $2 million in CNC machine tools and robotic automation equipment in his first year, doubling it to $4.5 million in his second year of sales. In addition to Okuma and Hardinge CNC machines, Mr. Smith has represented Brother, Takisawa, Toyoda, Makino, Doosan, Hermle and Tsugami machine tools in the Greater Cincinnati area.
