Cimquest Promotes President
The promotion will enable the previous president and CEO, Robert Hassold, to focus on longer-term objectives as well as vender and partner relationships.
Cimquest Inc. (Branchburg, New Jersey) has promoted Shawn Crews to company president. Mr. Crews joined the company in 2000 as a Mastercam application engineer and rose to several engineering supervisory and management positions, most recently holding the title of Director of Advanced Manufacturing. As president, he will have the primary responsibility of managing company operations.
Explaining the reason for the promotion, now-CEO Robert Hassold says that the company’s recent growth made it necessary to divide his previous dual role as president and CEO into two positions. “This change will allow Shawn to focus on the day-to-day operations while I concentrate on longer-term objectives as well as working more closely with vendors, partners and various areas of the company that will benefit from my closer interaction” Mr. Hassold adds.
