Belmont Equipment & Technologies Promotes New President, COO
Tony Tyll joined Belmont in 2010 and has held multiple positions throughout the last 14 years at the company.
Belmont Equipment & Technologies has announced the promotion of Tony Tyll to president/COO. With Tony’s promotion, Bob Ianitelli becomes CEO while Larry Ianitelli remains as chairman.
Tyll is the grandson of Belmont’s founder, Ping Ianitelli, and has over 20 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing. The family-owned company aims to keep Ianitelli’s vision alive in its core values, and to continue contributing new innovations and research in EDM.
Tyll graduated from Lawrence Technological University (LTU) with his bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering in 2002. He began his career with DaimlerChrysler and continued his education, graduating with his master’s degree in engineering from Oakland University in 2004, as well as his MBA from LTU in 2006. He joined Belmont in March 2010 and has held multiple positions throughout the last 14 years at the company. As president/COO, he plans to continue to grow the business with the core products and look for opportunities for expansion to enhance the line card.
