Arch Global Precision Hires Director of Product Management, with Special Tool Division

Arch Global Precision has hired Brent Sheerer as Director of Product Management, Arch Specials. He will lead Arch Specials cutting tool platform initiatives as a unified, mid-sized, full-service cutting tool company. Overseeing an initiative large enough to add significant value, yet nimble enough to provide tailored solutions, Mr. Sheerer will be responsible for providing customers with easy access to engineering, centralized ordering, technical support and customer service for all seven of the company’s cutting tool manufacturing facilities.

Brent Sheerer brings 30 years of industry experience to his new role, with nearly two decades serving as president of Ultra-Met Carbide Technologies. He has also served in leadership roles in product management, operations, engineering management, application engineering and CAD Design at various companies in the cutting tool industry.
“For the past few years I’ve been watching with interest what ARCH is building with their cutting tool platform,” Mr. Sheerer says. “Arch Specials’ new online Tool Builder is the most comprehensive Special Cutting Tool configurator I’ve seen to date.”
Brian Ayers, vice president of sales and marketing, adds, “As we continue to make acquisitions and consolidate the breadth of our custom cutting tool manufacturing capabilities, we’ll continue to position Arch Specials as the one-stop shop for custom cutting tool engineered solutions. I’m excited for Brent to be joining the team and leading the charge for Arch Specials.”
