AMT Names VP of Manufacturing Technology

Tim Shinbara assumed the position of vice president of manufacturing technology at AMT–The Association For Manufacturing Technology (McLean, Virginia) as of January 1. Mr. Shinbara serves on the Executive Committee of America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute (NAMII) and is the AMT liaison for the Additive Working Group and Technology Issues Committee for members within AMT. He succeeds Paul Warndorf, who assumed the role of vice president of strategic planning and will remain active in supporting the Manufacturing Technology department as well as other growth initiatives at AMT.
