Advanced Engineering UK 2015 Reports Over 13,000 Attendees
The trade show is the U.K.’s largest, serving the automotive, aerospace, defense, motorsport, space and satellite, energy, and marine sectors.

Advanced Engineering UK, the United Kingdom’s largest annual trade show and conference for the engineering sectors concluded its 2015 event in November after having experienced record attendance, report organizer Easyfairs. The show took place November 4 and 5 in Birmingham and hosted some 13,000 attendees from the automotive, aerospace, defense, motorsport, space and satellite, energy, and marine sectors.
Katie Crocombe, event director, says “This is the first year we at Easyfairs have hosted Advanced Engineering UK, and it has exceeded all of our expectations.”
The show was packed with a number of features and showcases, including the Arion1 Land Speed Bicycle, Vestas Sailrocket 2, the MK3 Libralato Engine, the Facebook Aquila Solar Plane wing, Micro Metalsmiths’ BeBionic arm, Canon’s 3D-scanned and SLA-printed Webb Ellis Cup and Tesla’s Model S electric car. It also featured speakers from international organizations such as Boeing, Magna International, Siemens, European Space Agency, SAE International, Bentley Motors and Airbus UK, among others.
The next edition of the UK event is scheduled for November 2-3, 2016, in Birmingham, U.K.
