How to Move Beyond Manual Programming with Customized Post-Processors for Advanced Mill-Turn and Swiss-Type

April 19, 2022 |

Join SolidCAM for a behind-the-scenes look at how customers overcome their Swiss-type and advanced mill-turn CAM challenges by using highly-customized SolidCAM post-processors, suited specifically for their CNCs and cuttings styles.

In a discussion with Dr. Emil Somekh, founder and CEO of SolidCAM, see how one customer meets this need by utilizing custom SolidCAM post-processors to best support his CNC manufacturing.

Joining the discussion will be several other SolidCAM product staff to answer questions and share other insights about SolidCAM—now and into the future.

Agenda:

  • The major benefits of SolidCAM’s single-window integration in Solidworks
  • How SolidCAM takes on the myth of out-of-the-box post-processors
  • Embracing the future of increasingly complex CNC machines, including five-axis, advanced mill-turn and Swiss-type CNCs
  • What exclusive features of SolidCAM’s iMachining create the shortest cycle times and dramatically increased tool life?
  • How the iMachining technology wizard takes the guesswork out of defining cutting conditions and automatically provides optimal feeds and speeds, considering stock material, cutting tool and CNC machine properties
