McCay Tool was founded in 1950 by Stanley McCay in order to fill the U.S. government’s need for contract manufacturing during the post-World War II aerospace and defense retooling era. It quickly became known as a quality manufacturer and won a prestigious contract to produce the warhead for the Raytheon-designed Patriot Missile, thereby establishing itself as one of the country’s premier U.S. defense contract manufacturers.

Over the years, McCay Tool has continued its growth to become a world-class manufacturing company specializing in the manufacturing and assembly of custom-designed, precision-machined components for aerospace, defense, commercial, industrial and other markets. It is a single-source integrator using a range of state-of-the-art equipment, and it focuses on providing exceptional quality and service managed by its ISO/AS quality system.

McCay Tool is located in a 50,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled facility. The plant is divided into manufacturing and assembly space in a cellular environment to enable the most efficient flow of products in a lean environment. Services include three- to five-axis CNC milling, CNC turning, fabrication/welding, heat treating and chemical processing.
