Rick Brandt Promoted to Publisher of Additive Manufacturing Media
Additive Manufacturing (sister brand of Modern Machine Shop) has a new publisher: Rick Brandt. An employee of Gardner Business Media since 2006, Brandt has been promoted to publisher of the brand and will direct the sales and business development efforts for the multi-channel media outlet in his new role.

View MoreGardner Business Media has announced that Rick Brandt, previously the company’s regional vice president for the West Coast, has been promoted to publisher of the Additive Manufacturing Media brand.
“Manufacturers are adopting 3D-printing technology more and more, and the Additive Manufacturing brand is growing with that demand,” Mr. Brandt says. “I am excited about the future and the opportunity to connect our audience with the technologies and trends that will help them succeed.”
Mr. Brandt is based in the greater Los Angeles area and has represented the metalworking, composites, additive and plastics processing markets for Gardner Business Media, publisher of Additive Manufacturing, since joining the company in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the College of Business at California State University San Bernardino.
“Rick possesses a deep knowledge of the media business and the advanced materials and manufacturing marketplace,” says Rick Kline, Jr., president of Gardner Business Media. “His ability to work with our diverse customer base, help them build and increase their brand awareness and achieve their marketing goals and objectives, makes him the perfect leader for Additive Manufacturing and our team.”
In his new role, Mr. Brandt will direct the sales and business development efforts for the editorial, marketing and sales teams of Additive Manufacturing and its media channels.
