Scientific Cutting Tools’ Coolant Ring Technology holders are made from high-quality, heat-treated steel and are black-oxide coated. The holders are engineered to enable better coolant penetration deep into the bore, reducing temperature at the cutting edge. The overhang of the tools used with the holders is adjustable rather than fixed, enabling maximum performance without chatter or other performance-related issues, the company says.
