Flex Machine Tools to Host Open House Event

Flex Machine Tools will be hosting an Open House event at its headquarters in Wapakoneta, Ohio, on Thursday, December 5 from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Additionally, appointment times can be reserved for Friday, December 6.

At the complementary event, attendees will learn how Flex technology can boost productivity and transform operations, according to the company. Several live demonstrations will be featured, including:

• FlexJet FLX waterjet with automated cutting via new IGEMS technology with an advanced five-axis cutting head.
• Versatile, cantilever-style FlexCNC C-series long-bed machining center for accurate, high-speed drilling, milling and tapping of large parts. Demonstrations will include thermal drilling and milling keyways.
• Flexible Tapping Center designed to streamline operations when drilling, tapping and countersinking sheet metal.
• A range of pneumatic, electric and hydraulic tapping and FlexERGO Arms for safe and ergonomic operations.
