Users can view the simulation state at any point in the process, and a stock automation engine calculates the stock model in the background to make simulation more efficient.

The latest version of CAM software from DP Technology, Esprit 2010, includes enhancements for milling, turning and wire EDM cycles. Users can view the simulation state at any point in the process, and a stock automation engine calculates the stock model in the background to make simulation more efficient.
The software features several new three-axis milling cycles, improved five-axis cycles, feature-based machining for all FreeForm cycles and the ability to define a third rotary axis for milling machines. Other milling upgrades include knitted surfaces for parametric machining, advanced pocket feature recognition and associativity with CAD models.
