Miniature deburring brushes can automate the process of removing burrs and producing an edge radius on small-diameter holes. According to the company, the advantage of diamond abrasive nylon is that is will cut hard materials, deburr quickly and last a long time. This material is suitable for finishing ceramic, glass, aerospace alloys and tool steel, as its flexibility is said to provide longer tool life. Brushes designed for through-holes (81 series) are available for holes as small as 0.024" (0.6 mm). Brushes designed for bottom-end applications are available for holes as small as 1/8" (3.2 mm). The company also offers a complete metric series starting at 1 mm.
