Developed for immersion and ultrasonic equipment, the cleaner removes buffing compounds, carbon, greases, lubricants, oils and rust inhibitors. It is safe for use on metallic alloys, exhibits high soil loading and hard water stability, and is free rinsing, the company says. It can be used for general purpose cleaning or critical cleaning operations that require no surface residue. CleanSafe 686 is a low-VOC cleaner and does not contain phosphates or NPEs/APEs, making it an alternative to solvent, caustic and highly silicated cleaners.
