To complement its line of Toggle-Aire pneumatic presses, AIM Joraco offers a direct air press line for assembling bushings, posts, inserts, fasteners and related products. The direct air press is equipped with a straight pneumatic cylinder for applications requiring full force over the entire stroke. Suitable for a range of manual and semi-automatic assembly operations, the press features standard 4.5"-stroke that provides 500 to 5,000 lbs of constant force. It is available in both C- and H-frame configurations as well as custom dimensions.
The press is available with internally or externally threaded 1" ram or with a hole for shank mount. Options include pneumatic counters; dwell timers; FRLs keyed to air shutoff; two-hand, single-stroke, anti-tie-down operation; and custom platens and tooling.
