Map Your Show's IMTS App Supports Attendee Planning, Access
The mobile application is based on and integrated with the company's MyShow Planner program to ease attendee navigation, planning and access during IMTS.
Nearly everything an attendee needs to know about the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS, September 8-13, 2014) is now available in a downloadable app for Android and iOS mobile devices. Developed by Map Your Show (MYS), creators of the existing MyShow Planner, the free app is designed to ease planning, navigation and access for visitors. The app is based on and integrated with the existing MyShow Planner available on imts.com. Users can access company contact information, add exhibitors to MyShow Planner and mark booths as "visited" all from a mobile device.
The app's "Floor Plan" function displays an interactive map of McCormick Place, providing a view of every building, floor and room at the show. Users can tap on a booth in the floorplan to access company information, or use the “Exhibitor Search” feature to search or browse exhibitors by name, pavilion or equipment category. Conference sessions can also be searched by "date," "track" or "speaker."
A "Show Info & News" tab critical information about the show, such as travel and lodging, registration, major events and contact information. Social media access to IMTS-related posts and tweets is also integrated.
