Version 1.3.0 of the MTConnect Standard Released

The MTConnect Institute has released version 1.3.0 of its MTConnect standard, an open-source communication standard of interoperability of manufacturing equipment and devices. The new release provides inter-device connectivity to enable machine-to-machine communication, additional items for equipment and devices, and improved readability of the standard documents. Also new in version 1.3.0 is the MTConnect User Portal, a community site for sharing implementation best practices and experiences located at mtcup.org.
