At Doosan Machine Tools America’s South Hall booth 339100, answers to these questions aren’t limited to information about machining technology. A handout providing the same information on 20 different Chicago-area bars and restaurants aims to help show attendees in an unfamiliar city answer another important question: Where do we eat?
Each location is marked on a map of the area surrounding the Chicago River. Ranging from diners and sports bars to cocktail lounges and upscale Italian restaurants, the recommendations are Doosan staffers’ favorite establishments in the Windy City for a bite, a meal or a drink. Although the limited number of booth handouts is being distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, the company is also regularly posting supplementary information about the recommendations on Facebook and Instagram (@doosanmta).
