Sandvik’s CoroMill 490 milling cutter is suited for shoulder milling, face milling, edging, contouring, slicing and slotting applications in virtually all materials. The 14-mm insert is designed for larger depths of cut and engagements ranging to 10 mm. The insert size can be used in cutter bodies with diameters ranging from 40 to 250 mm. It is also available in grades and geometries for steel and cast iron machining.
