LED Lights Offer Mounting Versatility

Waldmann Lighting offers Lumatris LED wide-area flood lights for small-, medium- and large-volume machines. The 1.57"-thick lights are available in a variety of lumen packages and requiring a minimal footprint within a machine. The lights feature a rear or side connection with an M12 plug connector for integration or mounting. The luminaires connects directly to 24-V DC without additional components, or to 100 to 240 V via internal power supply.

The anodized aluminum housing and 4-mm-thick safety glass are designed to resist coolants and lubricants, making the lights a versatile option for a variety of machining environments, the company says. Full-width models are available in either standard power (with every second LED switched off) or high power (with all LEDs turned on), depending on the task. The lights are available with Waldmann’s Light Forming Technology, an optional optical system designed to customize luminance. The system’s glare-free properties, increased efficiency and narrower distribution facilitate a range of tasks, the company says.
