Soraluce Gantry Machines Handle Diverse Machining Applications
The new High Rail Gantry Machines offer high-speed cutting capabilities, high precision rates and the ability to handle high-volume machining tasks.
Soraluce has launched its Dynamic Line, featuring the new High Rail Gantry Machines. The High Rail Gantry Machines offer high-speed cutting capabilities, high precision rates and the ability to handle high-volume machining tasks.
The Dynamic Line comprises three machine models tailored to applications in sectors such as aerospace, mold & die and mechanical engineering, with solutions designed for specific materials like composites, light alloys and steel-based components.
Tailored to suit the specific needs of diverse sectors and applications, these machines can be outfitted with either five-axis contouring fork-type or high-torque milling heads. According to the company, this versatility provides seamless handling of intricate and complex shapes. Additionally, they incorporate diverse dust extraction systems, both within the enclosure and integrated into the heads.
The Dynamic Line features high-speed cutting capabilities, with axes speeds reportely reaching up to 60,000 mm/min and accelerations up to 4 m/s². The machines feature five-axis contouring heads that enable speeds of up to 30,000 rpm and can machine intricate designs and complex geometries.
The machines also provide thermal stability, ensuring that performance remains consistent during fluctuating temperatures and rigorous machining tasks. The Dynamic Line features highly calibrated kinematics meaning every movement is precisely calculated and controlled.
Soraluce’s heavy-duty mechanical heads provide 73 kW of power output to optimize performance, enabling users to tackle challenging cutting tasks with ease and precision. The Dynamic Line offers a diverse range of high-torque mechanical five-axis contouring heads, providing torque levels of up to 2,000 Nm.
